Hurry Up and Rest
As I read the title of Chelsea Brown's poignant article, The Missing Ingredient to Living a Full Life & Loving Ourselves, I noticed the irony in how we conceptualize the idea of living a "full life". Yes, it is true that many of us have very full schedules and even more full to-do lists (or perhaps jam-packed is more suitable), but how many of us fill our time with self-nourishing and replenishing activities? I am grateful to be reminded that rest is just as important as action and that you cannot succeed in one without the other.
