Times are changing, quickly, and the therapy world is no exception. With increased work hours, longer commute times, and more transportation expenses; people are looking for easier and more efficient ways to get things done. Online (or tele) therapy offers a way to connect and receive support without the added stress, time and cost of commuting. My clients appreciate seeing me from the comfort and anonymity of their own home, the ease of doing a session from a conference room at the office, and the flexibility of continuing our work together, even when having to be out of town. While not suitable for everyone, the research is showing that for many “online therapy can be just as effective as in-person treatment”.
